I dont understand my love hate affliation with this country known as France. I just don’t get why I want to go back. I had a terrible experience there and vowed never to return; well at least not for several long years after my bitterness wore off. I’ve made several posts about France and teaching in France, etc., but this one is specifically about learning French. My French has slowed to a turtles pace and I’m none too pleased; not that I was so great in it before though. I got to thinking, there must be free courses or non-profits offereing lessons with little to no cost because I can’t 1) afford France, and 2) afford those expensive ass lessons that the universities/private language courses offer. I’m coming from Turkey; the Turkish Lira has dropped to 33 cents (is that the word for Euro cents??) and 44 USD cents. Fuuuuck. Well needless to say, I found what I was searching for. Here’s what I found:

Yeah, so what do you think? Have you any suggestions for the list or have you learned French abroad in a different manner? How much was it and how did you find the course/teachers/area?
I really want to do this so I can enroll in a French university, but I can’t until my level is fluent. My goal is to supplement whatever classes I’m taking by teaching English.
