How Real Is Your Food?

People often ask me, “Ashley Janelle, why did you become a vegetarian?” Easy. Food can hardly be called that nowadays. In fact, the food industry can barely be called that at this point. Having lived in Italy and France (two of the food hubs of the world) and eaten what I liken to be “real” food, I couldn’t stomach the garbage produced, sold, and consumed in this country; especially in my region. Also, I really took to heart my sensitivity to water and pondered this before making my beautiful leap to stop eating fake food and to stop exploiting animals.
